SemiScience

SemiScience is the art of trying to explain everything in a scientific way, without violating the truth.
When a phenomenon in the real-world is scientifically explained, or a fact is scientifically proven, then SemiScience will use this as the base of truth.

This book describes the WCG-doctrine. The WCG-doctrine is based on several fundamental principles in the universe, life, and learning cycles. 
Some principles are described here briefly, but I will elaborate on them, further in the book.

1. Cybernetics

My manifesto is based, among other things, on knowledge of the scientific domain of Cybernetics. Cybernetics describes laws that occur in processes of all systems you can think of:
In cosmological processes in the universe, in (bio)chemical processes on Earth, in evolutionary and ecological life processes, in communicative processes between people, and in control processes of machines as well as in governing countries.
Cybernetics describes or calculates processes in systems that can reinforce themselves (positive feedback loops). Cybernetics also describes processes that slow themselves down (negative feedback loops). Such processes can become visible in the form of, for example, wave movements (fluctuations) in the height of a certain value. These systemic processes can lead to centrifugal forces (outward directives) or centripetal forces (inward directives). Cybernetic processes can be found in the form of certain 'connecting patterns' in all layers of life formation and consciousness formation: from physical cosmology, via evolutionary ecological processes, and brain development, aimed at psychosocial communication and control science, up to and including the creation of perfect beauty, wisdom and omnipotence.

Cybernetic feedback loops are also part of the improvement process of this manifesto by progressive insight. That is why every publication edition of this book receives a version number, for example: SemiScience v.1.6.

2. RIMF kernel

The term RIMF will be explained in the book topic on RIMC.
RIMF stands for:
Reception – Integration – Manipulation - Feedback.

On many Book-pages you may see the RIMF-pattern. This pattern will denote the phase within a RIM-cycle as to knowledge elicitation in that page. So, the RIMF-kernel is displayed from the perspective of the book story.

3. Recursive Hologram

Hologram: A key property of a hologram is that every part of the hologram contains all the information present in the whole. This means that if you cut a small piece from a hologram, you can still see the entire image, though it will be less clear and detailed.
Recursion: This is a process where a function calls itself in its own definition. It's a method of solving problems where the solution to a particular instance of a problem depends on the solution to smaller instances of the same problem.
I will try to describe subjects in a recursive way, as if knowledge forms (visual) holograms of wisdom.
Hologrammatic framing:
I try to present each RIM cycle as overlapping layers (molecular → anatomical → ecological → cultural) so you may see how observation, integration (theory), manipulation (= prediction/action), and feedback interlock across scales of reality.

4. VAKOG

In the world of education, and media presentation, appealing to multiple sensory modalities (V-A-K-O-G) is important to convey your story.
This is also an important aspect of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) regarding Representational Systems:

  • V: Visual.
  • A: Auditory.
  • K: Kinaesthetic.
  • O: Olfactory.
  • G.: Gustatory

5. Comprehension Level

I try to explain subjects on 3 levels of comprehension and intelligence (lv1 , lv2 , lv3):

  1. Level 1: School pupils.
  2. Level 2: High School students.
  3. Level 3: University students

6. A.I.

Because the term 'AI' often appears in this book, I will describe the abbreviation here: AI = Artificial Intelligence.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the theory or the development of computer systems capable of performing tasks that historically required human intelligence, such as: recognizing speech, identifying patterns and making decisions. It is the ability of a computer or computer-controlled robot to perform tasks commonly associated with intelligent beings. The term is frequently applied to the project of developing systems with the ability to reason, to discover meaning, to generalize, or to learn from past experiences.

AI is an umbrella term that encompasses a wide variety of technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
Some people argue that much of the technology used in the real world today actually constitutes highly advanced machine learning that is simply a first step towards true artificial intelligence, or “general artificial intelligence” (GAI).

Deep learning techniques enable this automatic learning through the absorption of huge amounts of unstructured data such as text, images, or video. Despite the many philosophical disagreements over whether “true” intelligent machines actually exist, when most people use the term AI today, they’re referring to a suite of machine learning-powered technologies.

An AI-robot is therefore a robot with artificial intelligence built-in, that is: The robot brain (= computer processor) can do extensive data processing and complex calculations that resemble human thinking. AI needs a huge database stored in memory. An AI-brain can also learn from the data it is fed. This also allows the AI-robot to observe, compare, learn and make rational decisions, as well as perform certain goal-oriented actions.

In this site, the abbreviation AI-g is used for the following: AI-g = AI-generated = Image or Music generated with (online) AI-software.

7. Viable Quality of Reality

VQR stands for: Viable Quality (or qualities) of Reality.
Which features of the reality domain 'SemiScience' may cause viability?
The VQR-terms below have properties that make them candidates as viable entities or life-bringing factors.
VQR: Cybernetics, feedback, Recursion, Hologram, A.I., Sensory Modalities, goal orientation.
