SemiScience
1. Explanation
SemiScience is an attribute given by scientists to questionable knowledge findings of certain people. The term is also given to non-objective truth claims of certain groups.
This characteristic indicates that the underlying facts have not (yet) been properly proven according to scientific rules, or that these facts are based on half-truths.
I don't have a lab, so I can't prove many of my theories.
Other than that, it would take me several lifetimes to do proper research according to scientific standards, and I only have one life.
So, I 'borrow' facts and conclusions scientifically proven by others; or I postulate a hypothesis (working theory).
In the meantime, I hope someone else will take up the challenge of scientifically examining one (or more) of my statements as to the objective truth (and give me feedback, I hope).
I call my unproven working theories 'semi-science' because I believe in a scientific approach to finding the objective truth about everything.
2. Our arguments
WCG (We-Create-God) uses the term 'SemiScience' as opposed to 'real Science'. We would like to point out that university-science has the following limitations:
- There are many phenomena that science cannot properly explain due to limited technical resources.
- Scientists have not yet explored everything there is to explore.
- Some humanity-scientists do not conduct value-free research to find a trustworthy, objective truth (also in the Western World).
- Some humanity-scientists avoid investigating certain difficult phenomena, for example:
{censured} - There is little integration of knowledge from different scientific areas regarding overarching patterns or meta-phenomena between different domains of reality.
- Many universities focus more on in-depth research rather than explanatory teaching.
- Some research results may be scientifically correct, but have hardly any practical value.
- Some universities do not teach practical skills to students, for example: At some Dutch faculties of Psychology or Pedagogy, students do not receive communication training or do not learn therapeutic skills. After obtaining their university diploma, they must take additional special courses in practical skills in order to maintain a paid job.
- University curricula consist mainly of theoretical 'studies' and therefore provide little practical 'vocational training'. The general university graduation system trains students to become 'scientific researchers' in a certain field, nothing more than that. That is what the titles 'Master' and PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) entail.
How many jobs are there in society for 'scientific researchers'?
Many students graduate from college with an unusable degree that does not meet the practical needs of society.
This makes it difficult for highly educated people to find paid work in the field of knowledge they have studied for years. - Education is often the stepchild at universities. Scientific facts and conclusions are often not made sufficiently insightful, or are not educationally secured.
- Universities are limited in their financial resources, so they choose to invest in research on popular or urgent themes.
- To become famous or to get grants, current scientists mainly investigate unexplored new areas. 'New territory' means that fame can still be achieved and subsidies can be obtained.
- In this way, a lot of relatively 'old' knowledge (but still useful to those at home) is not perpetuated in a global popular knowledge base.
There is hardly any systematic knowledge safeguarding at the source: the university. - Useful scientific findings or solutions fade into the background of society's daily concerns, because journalists usually publish novelties only.
(And in the future, four human generations later, a young scientist reinvents the wheel on a certain topic, because 'old' knowledge has long been forgotten.)
These facets mean that certain statements cannot be refuted because of lack of knowledge or test cases.
Such arguments should not be ignored by the scientific community as long as science does not contain 'all the answers to everything in life'.
And science should fundamentally be objective, neutral and trustworthy, therefore unbiased.
3. Our vocabulary
We apply the term 'semi-science' to emphasize particular statements that may in the future be scientifically proven by research conducted under the supervision of a university.
These semi-scientific explanations, formulations, explanations or descriptions of phenomena are therefore - for the time being - hypotheses:
These semi-scientific explanations are a future candidate for sound and objective academic research. And - who knows - they could be included in the accepted repertoire of proven scientific knowledge, one day in the near future.
Structural knowledge retention of objectively proven facts as well as explanatory cause-effect chains, are necessary for the present. And a well (objectively) designed knowledge base is also important for future developments of humanity.
4. Linguistic derivation
SemiScience: The prefix Semi is derived from the Latin word 'semi', meaning "half".
The term Science is derived from Latin 'scientia', meaning "knowledge".
5. Genesis
A major difference between religion and current science is the direction of the 'driving force' with regard to the origin of the universe and of life (in all its diversity).
Most "old fashioned" religious positions state:
There is a God who created the universe from outside (extrinsically / exogenously). God also created all life forms (culminating in man) [Bible: in 7 days].
Modern scientific point of view often assumes:
The universe was created from within (intrinsically / endogenously) [Big Bang]. And from there onwards, life forms developed themselves intrinsically, according to autopoietic laws [over billions of years].
My doctrine assumes an intrinsic / endogenous force in both the origin of the universe and life, as well as during the 'development path' of galaxies, and in the genetic evolution of flora and fauna (including humans).
The Christian Bible says (John 11:25-26): Jesus said:
“It is I who raise the dead. It is I who give life. Anyone who believes in Me will live, even if he dies. And whoever lives and believes in Me will not die forever. Do you believe that?".
I say “Anyone who believes in my ideas will make life last forever. For with our help, God will emerge from nature. God is Eternal Life.”
Because I believe that we (and future humanity) will have to work hard to ensure that life (in the form of natural life phenomena) will continue to exist forever.
We strive to create the divine and thus the continuation of life (in all its manifestations). Nature is the foundation of Divine phenomena.
