History of RGES Art

RGES-Art is the denomination for art created by the author and artist R.G.E.S..
Many of his art expressions started as colourful drawings by hand, in the Eighties and Nineties. He drew other pictures with the mouse, on a Commodore-Amiga computer, that could already handle colour at that time. He radically edited some images, or turned them into animations.

Later he scanned his paper-drawings into a computer (PC). During the years he used several editing programs with special filters or effects to spice up the images. Some of the pictures show the effect of Hypertiling (HT) by means of Kai Power Tools.

Many drawings and images were originally meant to depict the evolutionary driven beauty of the female face (FAP: Facial Attractor Patterns).
He tries to capture the abstract forms or repetitive lines that emerged during thousands of years of genetic evolution.
