Chapters
Topic A consists of 2 chapters about the observations on 'How did Life come into existence on our planet?'.
Chapter 1 describes the observations surrounding the physical findings of first life on earth, and paleontological sequence of events.
Chapter 2 describes the observations surrounding the prehistoric evolution of life, and continental drift, tectonic plates, and mass extinction.
Technical Writing Method
I try to build up every section in the following ways:
Chapter division:
Begin: introduction to subject.
Middle: the actual pages on the subject in question (sometimes written on 3 levels).
End: conclusion or summary; sometimes with references to relevant people, books or to external websites.
This chapter division can also follow the order of Past - Present - Future.
RIM-cycle:
Every section may contain a RIM-cycle (a cause/effect adjustment loop).
Further in this book, the Topic on 'RIM Cybernetics' will explain a RIMF-pattern:
Reception - Integration - Manipulation - Feedback.
