Hemispheric Cooperation

 
Crossover Brain Survival

Everyone has two brain hemispheres: the left and right hemispheres. Within you -as one individual-, a collaboration has developed between the two hemispheres, whereby in most (right-handed) people the left hemisphere leads and the right hemisphere follows. In this arrangement, the right hemisphere controls the left side of the body, and the left hemisphere controls the right body-side. Thus, a duality has arisen within every individual. Since the right hemisphere ‘resides’ in the right side of the body, It depends on the left hemisphere regarding the (mechanical) protection and (nourishing) care of the right body part.
Both hemispheres within you, form a crossover duality and ensure each other's survival, thus enabling the entire body to survive as one unit. Your body (and mind) exists as 1 living entity consisting of 2 similar, mutually assisting subparts.

Dominant Eye

You cannot see your own eyes (except in the mirror).
For the following example, let me assume my perspective: I, as a man, am looking at a woman.
If you stand silently in front of someone, you are likely looking with your right eye (dominant for right-handed people) at one of the eyes of the person in front of you.

If you look and talk at the same time, it can happen that you use your left eye to look, while your left hemisphere is busy formulating words. A division of labour then takes place between the right and left hemispheres. As a result, a different information processing process immediately occurs between the two brain hemispheres, because they are focused on different data streams: either visual input, or verbal output.

Intensifying Afterimage

Imagine you look with your dominant eye (usually the right eye) at one of the eyes of the woman in front of you. Then your eye makes a saccadic leap to the other person's nostril. As a result, the afterimage of her eye merges with her nostril in your mind; the visual merging emphasizes this brief glance in your internal process of perceiving attraction. You unconsciously experience a pleasant sensation and have a fleeting affection for that person. If, at that same moment, the woman also makes these leaps of attention, a connection might develop between the two people. Scientists should investigate which combination of eye contact and saccadic leaps of attention leads to falling in love. When do man and woman have a strong subconscious attraction? While looking through their left eye, or right eye? Both persons looking through the same-side eye?

Dual Survival Unit

Does it matter which of the two eyes meets (left or right eye)? Naturally, we usually use both eyes, but it is quite possible that the information from each eye is processed differently in the rest of the brain, thereby leading to a different state of awareness.
The point is the following: Usually, your two brain hemispheres form a duality. The moment two romantic people arrive at a pleasant encounter, through their mutual glances and leaps of attention, they temporarily form a duality. Perhaps the ‘click’ is an emotional attempt to merge two consciousness entities into a single survival unit and, later, a reproductive unit.
Both reproductive partners form a duality and ensure each other's survival, thereby creating a stable environment for the baby to grow.
