Attention-Guiding Lines

Follower-lines are lines on the other person's face that encourage your attention—as the viewer—to follow the direction of the line. The most obvious follower lines are the two eyebrows, each of which can merge into the slender shape of the nasal shaft.
Some women have (naturally or through makeup) eyebrows that curve upwards at an angle in line with the nasal shaft. The average woman has eyebrows positioned higher than a man anyway.
Upward-curving eyebrows in women not only accentuate a triangular face. When looking at a woman's face, these lines guide the man's gaze from above the eyes downwards towards the nose and the loveable mouth.
