Cybernetics of Facial Attractiveness
Self-reinforcing circular cause/effect Process
There are three elements that reinforce each other in the evolution of physical (female) facial makeup: GAP, MAP, and FAP.
These 3 factors form a positive cybernetic feedback loop. In this context, the term 'positive' means 'self-reinforcing'.
Genetic acquisition patterns (GAPs) form the DNA basis of memory-awareness patterns (MAPs) that give rise to facial awareness patterns (male FAPs) of beauty.
GAPs also form the DNA-basis of facial growth tissue, thus causing facial adjustment patterns (female FAPs).
The attractive effect that arises, then increase the likelihood of these GAPs in the next generation.
And these GAPs in the DNA cause better or more MAPs in our brain that make the person more aware of FAPs in the face, or grow more attractive facial tissue.
Thus, a cybernetic feedback loop has emerged in the evolution of faces:
Patterns of facial recognition (FAPs) evolve through the underlying brain MAPs that are determined by / embedded in DNA by GAPs, which cause (even better) FAPs in the offspring.
Incidentally, I describe 2 types of FAPs here:
Male FAP: Men are said to be more attracted to female facial structures.
Female FAP: Women are said to develop more attractive facial structures during evolution.
The reverse happens as well, of course, but less prominently: Some women find it important to marry a man with a beautiful face.
Recapitulation
A GAP is the blueprint in various genes on human chromosomes that can initiate growth processes for building well-formed facial skin. Stimulation of growth factors occurs, leading to the formation of subcutaneous fat tissue and cartilage structures (FAP) that are attractive to potential reproductive partners.
This visual attraction is caused by neuronal circuits in the brain that make our attention more sensitive to perceiving and retaining in memory (MAP) certain basic visual features (so-called shape constants).
The structure of this neural circuit is also genetically determined, so: The better your brain is equipped to see beauty, the greater the chance that this trait will be passed on (GAP) to your descendants.
The probability that certain traits evolve genetically better than others, is increased if they have a positive sexual selection value, that is to say:
1. If men and women are attracted to each other (FAP),
2. because their neural brain circuits allow them to better notice certain visual forms in the other (MAP),
3. then they can marry faster/more stably and have children with the same genetic traits (GAP).
4. who thereby gain an evolutionary advantage in the development of biological beauty.
Nota Bene: realize that the phenomenon described above is only one of many biological and psychological factors that influence pair formation between men and women.
Terminology
Be aware: please note that in the acronyms, the capital letters A and P can have different meanings that are interchangeable.
For the letter A, you can use the words Attractor, Attention, Awareness, and Acceptance or Acquisition. Thus, within the acronyms of GAP, MAP, and FAP, these terms are interchangeable.
The letter P can mean: Pattern, Property, Process, or Program.
It is still unclear to what extent a FAP, MAP, or GAP is a simple pattern, an extensive property, or a complex function (program). This applies to both brain processes and genetic coding in the chromosome
